Chicago Sky star Angel Reese was recently in attendance for the Baltimore Ravens versus Buffalo Bills “Sunday Night Football” matchup.
Prior to the game, the Ravens official social media account posted a video with Reese introducing herself to Baltimore fans, just before the team gifted the WNBA star a custom jersey.
Reese has been vocal about her fandom for the Ravens, since the 22-year-old was born in Maryland.
Following a, 35-10, victory over the Bills, Reese took to social media, mentioning that she’s “hardly home but always reppin.”
She also emphasized that she goes by “Baltimore Barbie” first. Reese has gone by many different nickname throughout her basketball career, but it seems she prefers the nickname that’s linked to her roots.
While Reese played for the LSU Tigers in college, she went by “Bayou Barbie.” In the WNBA, with the Chicago Sky, Reese received the “Chi-Barbie” nickname from fans.
Reese was born in Randallstown, Maryland. She attended high school in Baltimore at Saint Frances Academy and went on to play for the Maryland Terrapins in college.
After playing her first two years in Maryland, Reese transferred to LSU, where she played from 2022-24 and was ultimately drafted by the Sky in 2024.
