Tee Higgins’ mom unleashes F-bomb after backlash over Bengals’ 17-37 loss to Eagles – Source: Imagn

Things are spiraling out of control for the Bengals after their latest 37-17 loss to the Eagles and one knows things are bad when Tee Higgins’ mom is getting involved. The wide receiver was a surprise injury designation for this game and he was missed as Cincinnati failed to get going on offense. It did not help that their defense could not hold back Philadelphia either.

Overall, it was a poor night for the Bengals and Tee Higgins’ mother got into a back-and-forth with the fans on social media. She said that her comments were being represented by people on X/Twitter and used an unflattering word to refer to the supporters who were engaging with her. She wrote,

“That tweet wasn’t meant how u dumb f*cks took it”

Tee Higgins’ absence slows down Bengals’ offense but defense a continuing issue against Eagles

Tee Higgins missed the Week 8 matchup for the Bengals against the Eagles and he could have helped the offense that had just one passing touchdown from Joe Burrow. The quarterback had 234 passing yards in total and was also picked up once. He threw 37 and completed 26 of them as they struggled to get the rushing attack going and recorded just 58 yards on the ground.

However, the biggest problem for the Bengals was the defense. It is an issue that has continuously let them down in 2024 and it was the same today. Saquon Barkley got more than 100 rushing yards, which was bad enough. But they let Jalen Hurts toy with them.

Both DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown recorded more than 80 yards, with the former also recording a touchdown. It was the only Eagles’ passing touchdown of the match but it did not matter as the Bengals defense could not contain the Philadelphia quarterback in the pocket. Jalen Hurts ran into the endzone three times.

Cincinnati is now 3-5 for the year. The loss was further compounded by the Browns defeating the Ravens in Week 8, which means Cleveland is just one game behind them now. Pittsburgh and Baltimore are two games ahead of them with five wins for the season.

Tee Higgins’ mother is not the only one angry at the Bengals right now. The Eagles, on the other hand, are looking good after a shaky start to the season. Given how they imploded in 2023 and finished with a whimper, reversing that trend is perhaps not the worst thing.
