Well that’s a buzzkill.
This 50,000-square-foot compound in Brentwood — one of Los Angeles’ five specialized “marijuana mansions” — was designed and marketed with a rooftop pot garden and amenities that could have made it a stoner’s paradise.
However, the marijuana plants were removed prior to closing at the new owner’s request, a listing broker representative told The Post, though the home’s other high-end delights remain.
The 10,000-square-foot rooftop deck was offered with six cannabis plants tended by a dedicated budtender, according to the press release.
But “[the buyer] did not want it so it was removed prior to closing,” the representative told The Post.
The seven-bedroom, 11-bathroom home sold Friday for $44 million to financier Jeff Feinberg, former director of Soros Fund Management, whose enthusiasm for recreational drugs apparently does not match that of the developer, Ramtin Ray Nostrati.
Nostrati holds that cannabis smoking rooms are going to be the new cigar room. This home is one of five “marijuana mansions” he built for active and retired athletes looking for “at-home, anti-inflammatory medicine,” TMZ reported in 2018.

“I built and designed this home with the idea in mind that you would be on vacation every day when living here. I wanted to bring the inspiration of resort living to life at a residential property where you never wanted to leave,” Nostrati told The Post.
Even without the 420 allure, the “Brentwood Oasis” is a major trade-up from Feinberg’s Hidden Hills home, which he sold for $14.6 million to YouTube makeup influencer Jeffree Star at the end of 201.
And it still offers plenty of greens, with a vegetable garden, a moss wall, a cactus garden and a golf green, the representative confirmed.

The rooftop deck offers a full bar, outdoor fireplaces, patio areas and a vegetable garden with carrots, cucumbers and a gardener.
The 30,000-square-feet of outdoor living space includes a lighted infinity pool, jacuzzi, bar, theater-sized outdoor movie screen, pizza oven, cabana, dining area, grassy seating areas and at least four outdoor fireplaces.

The 1.26-acre lot is gated and offers a built-in security guardhouse and a guest house. The hedged driveway leads to a covered motor court and a steep semicircular ramp leading to the 10-car garage, according to the listing.
The garage opens through glass walls to a marble-floor lounge with a nine-screen digital wall, a Kobe Bryant mural, bar and a barbershop area, photos show.

Moss, cacti and golf greens — oh my!
Inside, an indoor “living wall” of moss backs a three-story staircase with a 26-foot chandelier descending to a cactus garden at the base of the stairs. Across from the base are a bar and a 250-bottle wine cellar with a tasting area.
The staircase leads up to a living and dining area with a 1,000-gallon aquarium, bar, two kitchens and a 22-foot floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, one of at least five indoor fireplaces.
Amenities include a three-hole putting green with 360-degree views, accompanied by a wood-paneled sports simulator room with 13 games, a couples massage room and an indoor jet pool with a waterfall cascading from the ceiling.
Branden and Rayni Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates, Shauna Walters and Sally Forster Jones of Compass and Matt and Josh Altman of Douglas Elliman had the listing.
