Season 26 of The Voice has finally come to a close, and with that, we say goodbye to fan favorite Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire.
Snoop Dogg is forever doing side quests. After being one of the most iconic faces in hip-hop history, he’s gone on to do many other things with his time. With his unique personality and gangster attitude, he became a real icon of The Voice. His departure, along with Reba McEntire will be a blow to the show for season 27.
Along with Snoop, Reba McEntire is also leaving The Voice for Season 27. She hasn’t stated why exactly she has decided to sit the new season out, but we can speculate. Her show, Happy’s Place turned out to be quite the hit. It is assumed that due to there being a number of more episodes in the pipeline, she may be focussing on that.
Of course, just because Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire aren’t going to be judging season 27 of The Voice, it doesn’t mean they’ll never be back. They were both stars, adding a lot to the screen. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them both come back.
Who Will Replace McEntire And Snoop Dogg For Season 27 Of ‘The Voice’
NBC didn’t keep fans waiting for the news of the new judges. It has already been revealed that Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire will be replaced as coaches with an all-star lineup.
We can expect to see John Legend, Adam Levine, and Kelsea Ballerini as coaches for The Voice season 27. There is no denying that there is some serious talent in those chairs. However, trying to replace the charisma of Snoop Dogg is going to be no easy task.
That being said, the chairs have been filled with some great names. Of course, anyone lucky enough to be coached by John Legend is in good hands. His return to The Voice after sitting a season out will be well received. He’s a man who knows how to use those pipes. There will be plenty of knowledge to be gained by the contestants.
