After years of speculation that the singer and her husband Jay Z were the owners of the world’s most expensive car, a video of the car in action appears and, indeed, she could be the driver.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce, said in 2021 that “the Boat Tail is not just the method of getting to a destination, but the destination itself.” He was speaking about the most expensive new car that any brand had ever put up for sale: no less than 23 million euros.

The Boat Tail is a car of which only three examples have been produced, each with a different configuration to please its buyers, who as you can imagine are three of the best customers that Rolls-Royce has in the world. The origin of this car was the Sweptail, a unique model whose design was based on architecture. This was a turning point and many other millionaires began to call Rolls-Royce asking for unique cars.

So the British brand studied the option they were offered, decided to take inspiration from the world of nautical and reached an agreement with three customers who did not care what the final price of the car was. They would simply keep it.

Although the names of the buyers of these cars have never been made public, at the time it was rumored (never confirmed) that Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z, were the owners of the first one. According to the British media The Telegraph, Jay Z’s signature would appear next to the Spirit of Ecstasy (the statuette that the car carries on its front), while Beyoncé’s could be seen in small next to the rear emblem. In addition, the name of both would appear on the engine, and the blue color would be inspired by the dominant tones of the Cote d’Azur, in southeastern France, where the couple has been seen on many occasions.

But this could not be confirmed because no one from the brand has confirmed it and there have been no images in which Beyonce or Jay Z are seen driving it… Until now. Indeed, the car has been recorded with a mobile phone and it is speculated that it is the popular singer who is at the wheel of the car.

The car has apparently been seen in Dubai, where it has the license plate. So if it is Beyonce’s, one of the reasons why she has never been seen behind the wheel is because she would not have it in some of her more usual residences, which are those of Bel-Air, New York and Malibu. Do Jay Z and Beyonce have a house in Dubai? We don’t know.

In any case, the couple could well have ordered this car as on other occasions they have been seen with Rolls-Royce models and their fortune estimated at around 1.8 billion euros would have allowed them to indulge in this huge whim.
