Even wildly popular country music stars like Jelly Roll need emotional support from their significant others while performing onstage.

Leading up to Jelly Roll’s upcoming shows in Texas for the “Beautifully Broken Tour,” the “Need a Favor” singer played a show in San Jose, California, on Sept. 4. And it appears his wife, Bunny Xo, gave him quite the scare when he noticed she stepped out mid-show.

In a video posted on social media by the country star’s podcaster wife, Jelly is seen looking rather flustered and slightly aggravated while walking down a staircase to a hidden area of the stage.

“When you run to use the restroom at your hubby’s concert and he gets sassy ‘cause he can’t find you — so he goes in the hut to FaceTime and ask you where you are,” Bunnie Xo wrote in the video’s on-screen text.

Bunnie Xo typically plays a major part in Jelly Roll’s shows. Not only does she provide support and love for her hubby, but the podcaster has previously offered her own meet-and-greets at his shows for members of her Patreon.

While Jelly Roll appears angry in the video clip by Bunnie’s mid-show bathroom break, her response to his reaction seemingly shows it’s all love between the pair. And it appears the singer’s fans think so, too

One TikToker commented under Bunnie’s video, “Awe out of all the people giving him attention he only wants yours,” while another wrote, “He just wanted his emotional support Bunnie.”

Jelly Roll will play two shows in Texas in September. There will be a show in El Paso, Texas, on Monday, Sept. 9, at the Don Haskins Center, 151 Glory Road. The country star will then play a show in San Antonio, Texas, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, at the Frost Bank Center, 1 Frost Bank Center Drive.

The country singer will return to Texas in November for Houston, Corpus Christi and Austin shows.

Reasonably priced tickets are available for most shows via Ticketmaster.
