The 2024 NFL season is almost underway, and your final Fantasy Football drafts will likely occur just before Thursday night football.
Around this time, fans should at least know who will be in their leagues and what their team name will be.
For those wanting to have something controversial, it certainly won’t happen with ESPN.
Fantasy players on ESPN noticed that the “Worldwide Leader in Sports” has some rules about what you can and cannot name your fantasy football teams.
Many noticed that one of the phrases on the banned list is “White Lives Matter.”
For those wondering, “Black Lives Matter” was not allowed, but “Jewish Lives Matter” was allowed, and “Blue Lives Matter” was accepted on the site.
A bunch of Fantasy Football players were not happy and ragged about it online.
The NFL preseason is over, final roster cuts are already done, and the 2024 regular season will kick off Thursday when the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions face off.
Gathering friends, family, and sometimes even co-workers to create a start-up fantasy football league can be fun for all involved.
What Is Fantasy Football For People Who Have Never Done It?
Fantasy football isn’t complicated as it allows you to be the owner, GM, and coach of your very own football team.
You select your own team of players and select a lineup every week.
Playing fantasy is so crazy that it can have you cheering for players on a rival team just so you can win.
Once players are selected, you watch all Sunday long to see who gets you the most fantasy points.
Add up all the points, and the team with the most points will be the winner at the end of the NFL week.
There are a lot more things to it, but that is the gist of it.
