Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend gives peek at how WNBA star is enjoying break
Caitlin Clark is enjoying some much needed R&R after her first WNBA All-Star game.
The Fever rookie and her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, are on vacation together somewhere warm, according to photos posted on social media.
McCaffery — who currently works as a team assistant for the Indiana Pacers after playing for the Iowa’s men’s basketball team — shared a snap of a bikini-clad Clark throwing up a peace sign gesture while on a boat.

The former Hawkeyes point guard was sitting near Will Matthiessen — a right-handed pitcher out of Stanford, who was a sixth-round draft pick by the Pirates in the 2019 MLB draft.
Matthiessen is dating Clark’s Fever teammate, guard Lexie Hull, who was also pictured during the boat day.
Clark and Hull were all smiles while lounging on a large yellow raft in the water, as seen in a photo shared by a fan account on Instagram.
Prior to the All-Star break, Hull said in a recent TikTok video that she and some of her teammates were heading to Mexico following their game against the Dallas Wings on July 17. Dallas beat Indiana, 101-93.
The Stanford alum did not share any names at the time.
Clark was overly excited to start her vacation after a busy weekend in Phoenix for the WNBA All Star game.

“I’m on vacation!” Clark, who finished with four points, one rebound and 10 assists, said in a postgame press conference. “Alright, last time for a month, get your questions in.”
Clark quipped, “I honestly can’t wait to not touch a basketball for a while. I’ve shot too many times in the past year.”
The 22-year-old Iowa native was obviously joking. However, it’s been about a year since Clark had significant time off from basketball.
Clark played her senior year at Iowa and led the Hawkeyes to the NCAA Championship game in April, but were beat by South Carolina, 87-75.
Two weeks later, Clark was selected by the Fever with the first overall pick in the WNBA draft.

The former All-American guard was not selected for the 12-player roster that will play at the Summer Olympics, which begin this week in Paris.
“I’m loving that she’s going to get a breather and get some rest, just for our push after this Olympic break,” Fever coach Christie Sides said Wednesday. “I think it’s great for her, she’s just been going so hard for quite some time now, and this is just going to help her so much just to kind of decompress.”
Clark’s vacation, along with Fever center Aliyah Boston and veteran guard Kelsey Mitchell, was delayed due to the WNBA All-Star game.
