Paige Spiranac is termed the queen of golf. There have been very few female influencers who could even come close to matching her impact—until Karin Hart entered the scene.
In 2022, Hart posted a picture of herself on the greens with her bags and drivers, boasting the longest drive of an impressive 297 yards. In contrast, Spiranac had just revealed her driving range, which was 295 yards.
Ever since, the subtle competitiveness between the two golf influencers has been enjoyed by the community. Like Spiranac, Hart also engages with her fans and shares her knowledge about the sport. However, this time, the interaction took a turn away from golf and became somewhat tragic.
The devastating tropical cyclone Hurricane Helene caused massive destruction and fatalities across the Southeastern United States last month. It was the strongest storm to strike the Big Bend region of Florida, impacting many residents in the area. Karin Hart appears to be returning to her social responsibilities. A few hours ago, she shared several stories on her official Instagram account.
While she came in as a protector after the storm, there have been several golf entities that fell victim to it. From Tiger Woods residing in Florida, coming out safe, to John Daly being affected by it, even a lot of public figures lost a lot to Hurricane Helene.
John Daly had to flee town due to Hurricane Helene
John Daly resides in Clearwater Beach, just outside Tampa, where Hurricane Helene made landfall. He was forced to evacuate his home on September 27, along with thousands of other residents. Unfortunately, he lost his Alford home forever, but thankfully, the ‘Bad Boy of Golf’ emerged safe.
“I’m just glad everyone is healthy, that’s the main thing,” he told the PGA Tour’s website. “You live in Florida, you have to understand that’s going to happen, but not like this. I didn’t think it would be this bad.” He also shared that almost half a dozen other homes that belonged to his friends and families have been destroyed along with his. Such was the intensity of the hurricane. What are your thoughts about Hurricane Helene and its power of destruction? Let us know in the comments section!
