“Dear God Please No”: NFL Fans React To The Eagles-Chiefs Final Score After Someone Leaked The Super Bowl 59 “Script” Online
The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs have landed in New Orleans for Super Bowl week.
The two teams will face off in a rematch battle for the Lombardi trophy as they did two years ago when they last met in Super Bowl 57.
Patrick Mahomes led Kansas City to a 38-35 come-from-behind victory over Philadelphia to hoist his second Lombardi Trophy and earn Super Bowl MVP honors.
Now, it appears that he will be hoisting yet another Super Bowl trophy.
It seems we do not have to watch the big game since the final score of the game between the Chiefs and Eagles has seemingly leaked out.
A screenshot from Google shows Kansas City coming out on top 41-38.
Here is how fans reacted to the scripted score:
“Chiefs scoring 41 makes sense, but Eagles putting up 38 against our defense seems crazy 😅🫣,” one fan said.
“All yall did was add 3 points to the score last time 😂,” a second NFL fan added.
“This happens every year, and it never works out 😭,” a third fan stated.
“Obviously fake but as long as the birds go down I’m cool.😎,” a fourth fan commented.
“Dear god please no,” someone begged.
One final fan summed it up as so: “Considering this is 79 total points and the over under is at 49 this is just ridiculous. Not to say the chiefs can’t win, but the eagles defense averages 17.8 points allowed per game and 41 is more than double that in a game where Vic had 2 weeks to gameplan 😂.”
Chiefs Are Vying For History While Eagles Want Revenge
When the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, 38-35, in Super Bowl 57, Saquon Barkley wasn’t on the team and that could make a key difference in Philly trying to get their revenge.
If the Kansas City Chiefs win, they will have an opportunity to etch their names into the NFL’s history books at Super Bowl LIX.
They would become the first team to ever three-peat.
