Some horrific videos have surfaced online in the aftermath of a shooting incident that left one man dead after the Detroit Lions lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
The Lions suffered a sobering defeat in Week 2, but the result is hardly what has the city up in arms right now. The shooting, which occurred at Eastern Market after the game, also left one person in critical condition.
According to Detroit Police Chief James White, a male in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the fatal incident.
White also revealed that a fight started at Shed 6 around 4:30 PM and dispersed shortly after, however, two men squared up a little while later, putting their hands up like they were about to fight before one of them pulled out a gun and shot at least twice.
A male in his 40s was killed as a result of the gunfire, while one in his 20s was taken to hospital and remains critical.
Videos Of Detroit Lions Fan On The Ground After Shooting Have Been Circulating Online
As mentioned above, multiple graphic clips showing the deceased victim wearing Lions gear on the ground have surfaced on social media. We’re not going to post them on our site due to their gruesome nature, but if you really want to see them, a simple Twitter search should help you find what you’re looking for.
Police have also revealed that two firearms were recovered from the scene.
The officers who responded to the shooting had been directing traffic after the Detroit Lions game. They reacted quickly enough to make an arrest.
The matter remains under investigation.
