Who knew the Jets and Patriots could break up a family?
One of the biggest scandals on social media right now involves an apparent son who recently had some suspicions about his mother and what she had been doing away from his dad.
TikTok user Ethangresczyk decided to follow his mom to a local bar recently, and that is where he found his mother sitting at the bar with another man.
The man was sporting a John Riggins jersey. Riggins was the New York Jets fullback who was selected in the 1971 NFL draft at 6th in the first round.
For those unaware, as a rookie, he became the first Jet to lead the team in both rushing and receiving and even set a team record of 333 rushing yards against the New England Patriots.
According to his Wikipedia page, Riggins was named the Jets’ MVP (now known as the Martin Award) in 1972 and 1975.
The son sneaks behind them to record more evidence to ensure that his mother is indeed cheating on his dad.
Then, a few moments came, and the mom could be seen touching his shoulder before the Jets fan leaned in to kiss her on the cheek.
The excited mom also leaned in for a hug and kissed him back to show her excitement.
Not to mention, they were both watching the Jets-Patriots Thursday Night Football game as well.
At that point, the son had finally had enough and mustered up the courage to come out of hiding and expose his mother.
The shocked mom could have heard calling out her son’s name before he angrily said, “Unf–kingbelievable,” and the mom had a confused look on her face.
Mom: “What are you talking about?”
Son: “Who the fuck is this?” as the guy in the eJets jersey just keeps his eyes on the game.
The guy would finally turn around and speak while giving his name.
Son: “What are you doing with Rob?
“She’s married, you know?”
Rob: “She’s actually getting a divorce,” he says as his mom shakes her head in agreement.
Son: “I can’t fucking believe you right now.”
