Former NFL Head Of Officiating Dean Blandino Drops Truth Bomb Following Claims The League “Rigged” Games To Help The Chiefs Reach The Super Bowl

Former NFL head of officiating Dean Blandino has refuted the notion that the league is conspiring to help the Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowls.
Cries over the league’s officiating where it pertains to the Chiefs were rife during their win over the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday following a questionable fourth-down decision that cost the visitors big time.
Blandino, who’s now with FOX Sports, admitted that the Chiefs do appear to be getting the benefit of the doubt on many close calls but that there’s no mandate from Commissioner Roger Goodell to have the referees side with the team.
Given that he was in charge of NFL officials from 2013 to 2017, Blandino reckons he would know if a script was being handed down to decide which team should win games.
Blandino, who also poured cold water on the conspiracy theory in an interview with ‘Mad Dog Radio this week, also claimed that he would still find out, somehow, if there were some order that didn’t reach his desk.
“Someone somewhere would slip up, and it would get out,” he added.
Dean Blandino Knows Why The Chiefs Seem To Get All The Calls
Blandino has a theory on why Kansas City always seems to have the big calls go their way during games. He’s chalking it up to coincidence.
“Do teams get breaks at times?” he continued. “They do. And not every call is right. And sometimes that happens.”
The former head of officiating is of the view that it evens out at some point. Fans of the Philadelphia Eagles will hope that point will be the Super Bowl, but you can bet there will be some controversy stemming from the big game on February 9.
