Taylor Swift is not upset about losing the title of “Greatest Pop Star of the 21st Century”

Taylor Swift was absolutely delighted when Beyoncé was named Pop Star of the 21st Century and was pleased with her second place finish.

According to Page Six, Taylor Swift read Billboard ‘s list of the Greatest Pop Stars of the 21st Century and was absolutely delighted to see Beyoncé at the top of the list. The singer also knew how angry her fans were when she was named runner-up, but she didn’t feel sad or sorry for herself.

“Taylor will always support strong female artists. She thinks Beyoncé is very deserving of this title,” the source revealed. “Taylor appreciates all the support from her fans but she also knows Beyoncé is a legend in the music industry. She feels honored to be ranked second and is proud of what she has achieved, regardless of where she ranks.”

Previously, Billboard ‘s chart caused a lot of controversy when “Queen Bee” took the top spot, surpassing the Lover singer to win this title. Explaining their decision, Billboard said: “While Taylor Swift is the biggest pop star in terms of numbers, Beyoncé takes the top spot based on her entire 25 years of influence, impact and growth.”

Both stars have a long history of supporting each other, so it’s no surprise that Taylor is happy for her senior.
