Jaylen Brown was not happy with former teammate Grant Williams after he fouled Jayson Tatum. The Boston Celtics were on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Friday. In one of the possessions in the fourth quarter, Tatum found himself getting run over by Williams during a transition fast break play.

The play took place after Tatum grabbed the rebound from LaMelo Ball’s miss. With 2:05 remaining on the clock in the fourth, Tatum was in a rush to extend their lead as he attempted to run coast-to-coast. However, Williams had other ideas and bumped into the Celtics star, which resulted in both players crashing on the hardwood.

Jaylen Brown came to Tatum’s aid and told off Grant Williams. Brown didn’t appreciate the play and made his thoughts known to the Charlotte Hornets forward.

Ultimately, Williams was ejected from the game due to the officials flagging him with a flagrant foul penalty number two. Brown then gave his thoughts on what happened between Williams and Tatum during the post-game press conference.

Jaylen was confused as to why his former teammate did it. He then called out their friendship and said that it might no longer be the case.
