(Video) BLACK FRIDAY MAYHEM!!! CHIEFS WIN, ERAS TOUR BOOK & TTPD VINYL RELEASE!!
What an incredible day it’s been for Swifties—Taylor was spotted at the Chiefs game, we finally got the Eras Tour book, and the Tortured Poets Anthology vinyls are officially available! Taylor really made this Black Friday one to remember.
If that wasn’t enough, she celebrated the Chiefs’ win and spread some holiday cheer by interacting with fans after the game. Welcome to Hits Differently, where we break down everything Taylor. I’m Molly, and in today’s episode, we’re recapping Taylor at the Chiefs game, reviewing the Eras Tour book, and unboxing the Tortured Poets vinyl.

Let’s start with Taylor’s appearance at the Chiefs game. She arrived in a more casual, comfortable outfit than we’ve seen recently, which was perfect for a post-Thanksgiving day. I mean, who doesn’t want to be cozy after a big meal?
She showed up with Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna, and her dad, Scott, and something interesting happened as they walked through the tunnel to the suite—Donna made Taylor laugh, and suddenly, they were strolling together! Taylor, ever the pro, winked at the cameras as she passed, giving us yet another iconic moment to swoon over.
If you zoom in on her outfit, you’ll notice she’s wearing an “87” necklace, which is clearly a nod to Travis. Taylor’s usual walk through the hallway, with fans cheering her on, was another heartwarming sight. By the way, in my last Chiefs recap, I asked about who has access to this VIP hallway, and thanks to Chiefs Kingdom, we now know it’s those with Club or Suite access.
The game itself was thrilling, and Taylor celebrated a big play by Travis by hitting the first-down move we’ve seen on the Eras Tour—another fun moment we love to see. The Chiefs secured the win, which was especially sweet considering last year’s holiday loss to the Raiders.
After the game, Taylor shared a selfie video from the suite, and once again, showed us just how generous and thoughtful she is. She leaned out of the box to give a little Chiefs fan a gift, and without skipping a beat, waved over some other fans, offering them gifts and taking a photo with them. It’s these small, personal gestures that make us love her even more.
Now, let’s talk about some goodies! This morning, I ventured out to Target to grab my copies of the Eras Tour book and the Tortured Poets Anthology vinyl. If you’re an international fan, don’t worry—I’ll save any spoilers about the book for later, so stick around if you want to hear my thoughts! First up, let’s unwrap the Tortured Poets vinyl.
I couldn’t wait to see what these looked like, and they did not disappoint. The record is clear with a beautiful mix of grays and blacks, and it’s going to look stunning on any turntable. It’s always a treat to add more vinyl to my collection, even though I don’t have my record player with me right now (I’m traveling this week). But trust me, as soon as I get home, I’ll be spinning this vinyl.
As for the Eras Tour book, it’s just as magical as we expected. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers, now’s the time to exit the video, but for those sticking around, let’s dive into some of the coolest parts.
One of my favorite things was the section at the back of the book with sketches of Taylor’s tour outfits. There’s a light pink jacket from Lover that we’ve never seen before (we’ve only seen the dark pink one), and in the Reputation section, I spotted a gold bodysuit that made it into the book.
Another interesting detail? There’s a green dress from Midnights that we’ve never seen Taylor wear! But perhaps the most fascinating part of the book is when Taylor talks about a crew member operating the TBA (the Rover platform), which moves while she performs on top of it. These behind-the-scenes insights are a dream come true for fans who love every little detail.
And then, there’s a line on the first page that really stood out to me: “There’s nothing I hate more than doing what I’ve always done.” This tells me Taylor is always looking for new challenges and new ways to reinvent herself. Whatever she does next will be fresh and different. Finally, the last line of the book says, “See you next era.”
This is a big hint that Taylor’s not going anywhere anytime soon! The Eras Tour is just one chapter in her constantly evolving journey, and we’re still in the thick of it. So, don’t worry, Swifties—there’s plenty more to come!
Before I wrap up, I want to hear from you. Did you pick up the book, the vinyl, or the CD today? What were your favorite surprises?
