The relationship between Prince Harry and King Charles, in a “dreadful” state for a painful reason

The strained relationship between Prince Harry and King Charles, as well as the rest of the royals, affected the monarch’s relationship with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Although Charles’ bond with William’s children is close, he has only seen Archie a handful of times, while Lili only once.

According to the Mirror, Charles “has had conversations” about visiting Harry and his family in the United States “at some point in the future.”

Royal expert Tom Quinn spoke to the newspaper and said: “There’s no doubt that, if he goes ahead, he would build in time to visit his youngest son and grandchildren, but there are mountains of planning to overcome before that becomes even a remote possibility.”

During Harry’s visit to London in May, where he attended the ceremony celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, he did not have the opportunity to meet his father due to the King’s busy schedule. The last meeting between father and son took place shortly after Carlos’ cancer diagnosis was made public.

The possibility of Harry visiting his homeland with his family is a matter of debate, as his wife Meghan is said to fear for the safety of their children when they are in Britain.
