Taylor Swift had a lot of supporters in the audience during her recent Eras Tour concert in London, England, including her mother Andrea Swift—who couldn’t help but get teary-eyed as she saw all the cheering fans in the crowd.
A Swiftie shared footage from a special moment during the Sat., June 22 concert when Andrea walked past excited fans, getting visibly emotional as she held fans’ hands, waved to others and took it all in.
In the clip, Mama Swift wore a simple black dress with her hair in a low ponytail on the side, and she held a bunch of friendship bracelets given to her by Swifties, with more fans adding to the pile.
“Protect mama swift in all times,” declared one fan as others wrote, “I stan her with all my heart 😭,” “One proud mama! You did good, Andrea! ❤️,” and “IM SORRY BUT JUST WATCHING THIS… ITS MAKING ME CRY?!?!?!?”
“Imagine that many people coming to watch your daughter do what she loves 🥹❤️🩹,” said another.
More emotional fans reacted to the clip with replies like, “I’m sobbing my eyes out. 🥹 we love you queen,” and, “that’s it. this video did me in. mama swift crying will always get me 😭🤧.”
During her London shows, Swift also surprised fans by singing “thanK you aIMee,” one of the tracks from her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, which includes a lyric specifically referencing Andrea: “Everyone knows that my mother is a saintly woman / But she used to say she wished that you were dead.”
Adding to the performance, Swift combined “thanK you aIMee” with her hit song “Mean,” with the crowd singing along as she changed a lyric to spotlight the fact that she was performing at Wembley Stadium.
Along with Andrea and Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, who has attended many Eras Tour shows, her stop in London also featured celebrity guests like Prince William and his kids and Jason and Kylie Kelce.
