The Super Bowl 2024 was a roller coaster ride for the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, so much so that even Taylor Swift went “through a lot” during the game. The “Blank Space” singer visited Children’s Mercy Hospital in Missouri on Thursday.
A video from her visit to the hospital showed Taylor Swift having a heartwarming conversation with a young girl named Tinley. In the background, Swift’s “Paper Rings” was playing to which Tinley asked, “Is [the song] about Brock Purdy?”
The Super Bowl 2024 between the Chiefs and the 49ers was no less than a suspense movie. The 49ers maintained the lead since the first quarter, with Purdy connecting most of his throws throughout the game.
With less than 10 seconds left on the clock, it looked like Purdy had grabbed the win from Patrick Mahomes until Mecole Hardman Jr. connected a 3-yard pass from the Chiefs quarterback. The Chiefs ultimately won the Super Bowl with just three seconds left on the clock, removing all the stress from Swift’s head.
Swift’s visit to Children’s Mercy Hospital came almost a day before her 35th birthday. Fans praised the NFL for wishing the “Blank Space” singer with an adorable tribute to her romance with Travis Kelce.

Travis Kelce and his family are expected to spend Christmas with Taylor Swift and his family. Since Christmas is almost around the corner, Travis’ dad, Ed Kelce, has started shopping for gifts. On Thursday, Ed appeared on the “Baskin & Phelps” radio show and recalled how he struggled to find the perfect Christmas present for Swift.
“In terms of buying Taylor a present, it’s like trying to buy Jason and Travis a present,” he said. “There’s nothing they want that they don’t already have. There’s nothing they’re thinking they might get that they haven’t already figured out. You can’t go that route. You have to look beyond that.
