Taylor Rooks On Why NBA Stars Constantly Flirt With Her

Taylor Rooks is widely acknowledged as a preeminent NBA broadcaster a huge star within the broader sports media space.

While she doesn’t get attention for her inappropriate outfits like someone like Erin Andrews, she is still very established within her field.

Rooks consistently attracts attention, whether she’s celebrating hard with Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant or spending time with Aaron Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend, Mallory Edens.

What distinguishes Rooks from her colleagues is her skill in eliciting relevant insights from the athletes she speaks with. Specifically, the male ones. Some speculate this occurs because her interviewees, excessively preoccupied with impressing her, carelessly reveal more than they intend.

Rooks recently commented on this in an interview.

“I’ve read all the tweets,” she stated.

“People suggest that when an athlete speaks to me, they’ll just say anything. I don’t concur with that interpretation. I’m under the impression that many correlate my ability to pose solid questions with my appearance. ”

“It’s unintentionally devaluing the effort I invest into preparation for the interview. ”

The Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown is a prime example of players who seem enchanted by Rooks, most famously promising her he would bag six NBA championships by age 28 despite being only 22 at the time. Obviously he just gone one at 27, but he only has one year left to claim the remaining five.

Yet, Rooks adamantly denies that her physical appearance plays a role in these revealing interactions.

Who would be more familiar with this dynamic than Rooks herself?

Which NBA luminary will be brave enough to wager his reputation by sharing unpredictable comments in an interview with Rooks next? We’ll wait and see.
