Princess Kate’s favourite tipple that Prince William makes her every night
The Princess of Wales reportedly likes a certain drink after she puts her children to bed at night, according to a royal insider.
Princess Kate has previously spoken about Prince William and his caring nature, with the prince, 42, most recently having supported his wife through her battle with cancer.
However, while it appears the future King is there for The Princess of Wales whenever she needs him, William also cares for his wife in more discreet ways too.
According to the Daily Record, the prince makes Kate her favourite drink every night once Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six, are in bed.
While many thought this would be a Guinness, it turns out what the princess likes after a long day if a gin and tonic.
A royal insider revealed: “William will bring Kate a gin and tonic. They look after each other, but in different ways.”
The couple, who have been together since their university days, are well-known to be supportive of each other in good times and bad.
This year, William has been seen caring for his wife more than ever after she was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy.
The dad-of-three was spotted doing the school runs and frequently spoke lovingly about his wife at royal engagements.
The princess, in a video released last month, then spoke about the importance of “loving” and “being loved” as she spoke about her experience with cancer.
The video showed intimate moments between the couple where they could be seen holding hands, hugging and laughing together, surrounded by their three children.
Kate said in the clip: “This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved.
“Despite all that has gone before, I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life.”
The couple have since completed their first royal engagement together since Kate’s cancer diagnosis as the pair welcomed a teenager also battling cancer to Windsor Castle last week.
