Cuban just backed Kamala Harris for the coming US 2024 presidential election, and slammed Donald Trump while speaking to Jon Stewart on The Daily Show
Shark Tank investor Mark Cuban is one of the most outspoken billionaires in the US. Cuban, who also used to own the Dallas Mavericks (he now has a minority investment) is known to weigh in on politics, business ventures and take shots at Tesla boss Elon Musk.
Recently, Cuban backed Democrat Kamala Harris in her bid for the White House ahead of the coming US 2024 presidential election, telling Jon Stewart on The Daily Show that former US president Donald Trump “brought hate and anger to politics and that is his sales pitch”.
As Cuban continues to make headlines for his new business venture – which aims to disrupt the healthcare industry in the US – and for his outspokenness ahead of elections, not much is known about his private life.

However, one woman has supported him through it all: his wife Tiffany Stewart, who he’s been married to for over 20 years. Here’s what you need to know about the “Shark wife” who stays out of the limelight.
How did Mark Cuban meet his wife, Tiffany Stewart?
Cuban said that when he moved to Dallas, Texas, he was looking for “fun, sun, money and women”, per D Magazine. He was at the gym when he met Stewart in 1997, when he was considered one of America’s wealthiest bachelors, per Forbes. The couple got married in Barbados in 2002, in an intimate ceremony that had only 20 guests. Wedding planner Russell Holloway said it was a “traditional, very elegant, beautiful wedding”, per The Plainview Herald.
Tiffany Stewart once called herself and Mark Cuban “middle class” … despite Cuban being a billionaire
Despite her husband’s immense wealth even in 2000 (he now has a net worth of US$5.7 billion, per Forbes), Stewart said she still considered herself and Cuban to be “middle class”. At the time, Cuban had just sold his company Broadcast.com to Yahoo! in a landmark deal that catapulted him to billionaire status.
The New York Times reported that Cuban bought a 24,000 sq ft Dallas mansion – a purchase that Stewart thought was “impractical”. She still worked in sales at an ad agency, driving her Honda to work.
What is Mark Cuban and his wife Tiffany Stewart’s relationship like?
In the same interview with The New York Times, which took place before they were married, Stewart said that living with Cuban required a lot of patience. “I always know that I’m not going to be No 1,” she said, referring to his busy schedule and inability to stop working. “It’s the computer. He can’t turn it off. He just can’t.”
How many kids do Mark Cuban and Tiffany Stewart have together?
Stewart and Cuban have three children together: daughters Alexis and Alyssa and son Jake. Cuban once told People magazine that he doesn’t believe in spoiling his kids just because he is rich. “I’m not the dad that’s like, ‘Oh, you’re mad at me? Let me buy you a Ferrari,'” he said.
In an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Cuban said that he believed in encouraging his kids to be “excited about something”, explaining that “if you get really good at it and you wanna make money out of it, you can”.
She had an epic 40th birthday celebration
Despite keeping a low profile, Stewart made headlines in 2012 when she turned 40 and had Jon Bon Jovi perform at a private concert at her home. Per NBC Dallas-Fort-Worth, Cuban invited 100 guests to celebrate his wife’s birthday. At the event, Bon Jovi handed her a Cartier watch with an engraved birthday message.
Tiffany Stewart’s philanthropic work
Stewart eventually moved on from her job in sales and has now carved a life for herself as a philanthropist. It has been widely reported that she is involved in the Hoops and Hope charity organisation, an initiative to promote the arts and athletics in schoolchildren, and also to have age appropriate conversations around mental health, abuse, violence and sexual education. She was also a board member of the Mavs Foundation that aims to “empower youth, women and families in need”.
