Jennifer Lopez’s nightmare with Sean “Diddy” Combs comes to light: “I was going crazy”
The artist’s arrest has revived the horror the singer suffered during their relationship. “My life went into a tailspin”
After being indicted by a jury of anonymous citizens, Sean Diddy Combs was arrested on Monday, September 16, by agents of the Homeland Security Investigations Office in the lobby of the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York, as confirmed by the federal prosecutor in Manhattan, Damian Williams.
>The 54-year-old rapper’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo , confirmed the arrest. “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unfair prosecution of Mr. Combs by the federal prosecutor,” he told CNN .
The scandal has inevitably led to a journey into the businessman’s past, bringing to light delicate and unpleasant moments in the artist’s life. Among them, his relationship with Jennifer Lopez .
It was the actress herself who, in her day, remembered that romance as one of the most complicated of her life because of everything she had to experience on an emotional level.

“It was the first time someone wasn’t faithful to me,” she told Vibe Magazine , as reported by Entertainment Weekly . “I was in a relationship with Puff where I was crying all over the place, freaking out and going crazy. My life was going downhill,” she added in that 2003 interview.
Although she never caught him red-handed, it was clear that he was not loyal to her. “I never saw him, but I knew. He would tell me that he would go to the club for a couple of hours and never come back that night,” she added in this conversation with Vibe magazine .
Was that really the life he wanted? No. In fact, they broke up so many times that, he said, he didn’t believe her when JLo told him ‘this is as far as we’ve come’. “I had to think about it carefully. Do I want to be in a house with children in 10 years wondering where that person is at 3 in the morning?” he admitted.

Someone who might have been especially happy about the end of that relationship was Lupe, his mother. And she let it be known years later on The Wendy Williams Show . When the host asked her in 2015 if she had ever considered getting back together with Diddy, the cameras focused on her mother in the audience, whose gesture was a blunt ‘No’ with her head and hand. For those who understand, a few words are enough.
