Bon Jovi ‘s record company has been accused by fans of selling special editions of ‘Forever’, the New Jersey native’s latest album, with supposedly fake autographs. Read all about the controversy here.

Bon Jovi reportedly sold their album with fake signatures

Jon Bon Jovi fans have claimed that the autographs on copies of ‘Forever ‘, the musician’s latest album, were reportedly signed with an autopen. This means that a mechanical template was used and Jon Bon Jovi did not physically sign each copy.

It should be noted that signed editions of Jon Bon Jovi  ‘s album would not be priced higher, but fans complained that the signature was offered as real. Also, many American fans complained that in some cases the signatures were printed on a dark background, making it practically invisible.

Fans complain about Bon Jovi’s album

Across social media, users have warned of problems with Jon Bon Jovi ‘s new album . “Buyers beware. Bon Jovi’s shop is sending out autopen signatures. Talk Shop Live is also sending out the same. The UK signatures look hand-signed,” commented one fan.

Another fan sent a special message to Jon Bon Jovi himself: “Jon… your fans don’t want to believe that you were aware that your people were knowingly sending fake autographs of yours to boost record sales. We’d like to hear it from you and maybe have a chance to have legitimate autographs since we bought them under that premise.”

Many fans lamented that, supposedly, someone in Bon Jovi ‘s entourage wanted to take advantage of people’s fanaticism in order to try to sell more copies of ‘Forever’.
