Singer Bon Jovi and Cuban-American Pitbull have joined forces on the single Now or Never, a remix version of the former’s classic It’s My Life and which will be released on November 14, according to a statement released on Monday.

The new version will maintain the powerful chorus and inspiring message that made the original song, included on Bon Jovi’s studio album Crush (2000), famous, to which Pitbull’s characteristic style of witty and motivational rhymes will be added.

The single is accompanied by a music video that captures the historic joint performance at the show held in Jones Beach, New York, where Jon Bon Jovi surprised Mr. Worldwide, as Pitbull is also known, by appearing on stage to sing It’s My Life together for the first time.

The visual boasts a lot of action, impressive choreography and the explosive chemistry of these two legends, as described in the note from the representatives of the Cuban-American artist, who has won several awards, including a Grammy in 2016.

Bon Jovi, also a Grammy winner, is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This collaboration comes after the friendship forged between Pitbull and Jon Bon Jovi in 2017, after initially meeting in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Since then, the two have shared the stage at various events, including a duet at the Hollywood Bowl this summer during the “Keep The Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett” concert.

Armando Christian Pérez, Pitbull’s real name, began his Party After Dark Tour last August in Bristow (Virginia) and, after 26 concerts, he will offer eight concerts in a casino in Las Vegas (Nevada) with a fresh show full of “elegant and sophisticated energy”, in which he will review his greatest hits.

Pitbull will also be one of the artists who will take the stage at the Latin Grammy Awards, which will be presented at the Kaseya Center in Miami, South Florida, this November. (E)
