After duetting with Bon Jovi The War & Treaty drops soulful ‘Can I Get an Amen’
The release of ‘Can I Get An Amen’ comes as The War and Treaty are enjoying a wave of recognition, with nominations for several major awards. They are up for Country Music Association’s Vocal Duo of the Year, People’s Choice Country Award’s Group/Duo of the Year, Collaboration Song of 2024 (for ‘Hey Driver’ with Zach Bryan), and Americana Music Association’s Duo/Group of the Year.
Written by the duo themselves, the song carries their signature “gospel country” sound, earning them the title of “King and Queen of Gospel Country.” This is the fourth track the pair has released this year, following standout singles ‘Stealing A Kiss,’ ‘Leads Me Home’ and ‘Called You By Your Name.’
In addition to their string of new releases, The War and Treaty have been making waves on national television, appearing on Celebrity Family Feud, Austin City Limits 50th Anniversary Special (airing Nov. 2), the National Memorial Day Parade, and NBC’s Macy’s Fourth of July Special. The duo also recently celebrated their first GRAMMY nominations for Best American Roots Song and Best New Artist, alongside nods from the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, CMT Music Awards, and Americana Honors & Awards.

On Sept. 26, 2024, fans can catch The War and Treaty performing live at the People’s Choice Country Awards, airing on NBC and Peacock.
Known for their high-energy performances, The War and Treaty have shared the stage with top artists like Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, and even The Rolling Stones. The duo is set to continue their nationwide tour, with upcoming festival performances at Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, KY, and Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, CT.
