The term “set to join” confirms here that young Demidov will be joining the Montreal Canadiens as early as next fall, and we couldn’t be more excited.

At just 18 years old, Demidov has amassed 20 points in 31 games this season in the KHL, which is absolutely incredible and historic, considering he’s playing only about 6-7 minutes per game in one of the top three hockey leagues in the world.
