NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Justin Timberlake may be talking the talk, but Jessica Biel is waiting to see if her husband will truly walk the walk after his June 18 arrest for riving while intoxicated (DWI).

Timberlake has been apologizing incessantly, but not everyone is buying it, including those close to the ‘SexyBack’ singer.

Justin Timberlake has a ‘spoiled brat’ reputation

“It’s become so tiresome for people in Justin’s world to hear these apologies they’re not quite sure he means,” a source exclusively told In Touch.

“He’s got a serious reputation for being a spoiled brat, and the big question is whether he’ll ever straighten up for the long run or keep living in denial over his problems. His sense of entitlement is the biggest issue.”

Biel, who’s been married to Timberlake for 12 years, is playing the long game.

The 42-year-old actress is standing by him for now, but insiders say she’s not as forgiving behind closed doors.

“While a lot of people think she’s a little brainwashed, the people that know her well insist she’s got a lot more backbone than the public realizes,” the insider continued.

“She’s very good at making a show of supporting him for the cameras, but privately she’s a tough cookie and has let it be known he’s on thin ice with her.”

With two sons, Silas, 9, and Phineas, 4, the stakes are high for the couple.

The ‘Accidental Love’ actress’s patience, while commendable, may not last forever.

“Justin has humiliated her again,” a source revealed after his arrest in June.

“This could all lead to a divorce bombshell. No one would be shocked if Biel issued Justin an ultimatum: Get help — or it’s over.”

Despite the tension, there’s still hope. “As much as she doesn’t want a divorce, if Justin doesn’t get his act together and start consistently putting in the work on himself and proving that he’s changed, she will walk,” the insider noted.

The ‘Mirrors’ singer was pulled over in June in the Hamptons after police saw him driving his BMW after midnight, evading, and failing to stay in his lane. Timberlake was arrested after failing his field sobriety test and was later released after being arraigned.

Justin Timberlake, who initially pleaded not guilty at a hearing in August, took responsibility for his actions and was handed a community service sentence on September 13.

Timberlake and Biel have been together since 2007 after meeting at a birthday party hosted by the singer.

Though their relationship has seen its share of ups and downs, including Timberlake’s much-publicized cozy encounter with ‘Palmer’ co-star Alisha Wainwright in 2019, Biel has managed to stand by him through it all.

However, as Timberlake tries to regain control of his life, it’s clear that Biel’s patience may have its limits.
