Alice Evans has been kicked out of an LA court for taking photos of her ex-husband Ioan Gruffudd.
The British-American actress, 56, came face-to-face with ex Gruffudd, 50, for a child support hearing on Monday to discuss their two young daughters following their bitter divorce last year.
But she risked the wrath of court after suddenly taking her phone out and snapping pics of Fantastic Four star Ioan as he sat on the other side of the courtroom following a series of icy stares between them.
Taking photos inside a court is strictly banned, both in the US and UK. Though Evans was eventually let back in, a judge ordered her to delete the photos – some of which were said to be taken at point-blank range.
Quite what she wanted the photos for were unclear, but it caused the shocked court constable to jump out of his seat and tell Evans: “Stop that. Delete those. I’m not asking you, I’m telling you.”

She was then told to leave the courtroom and looked nervous as the court worker stood over her while she deleted the photos in the corridor before allowing her back in. But moments later the judge was forced to issue a second warning after she was seen with her phone in her hand again, according to the Daily Mail.
Not much else happened during the hearing to discuss how much child support and spousal payments Gruffudd must pay Evans and their two daughters Ella, 15, and 11-year-old Elsie. It was thought there could be a court showdown between Evans and Gruffudd’s new 32-year-old fiancée Bianca Wallace, who is expected to be called as a witness in the proceedings.
But Wallace was nowhere to be seen and the case was instead moved to February 13 when a full hearing will be heard. For the moment, the court heard both sides have agreed that Gruffudd will pay $3,000 a month temporary child support and $1,500 a month temporary spousal support until a more permanent agreement can be reached.
The courtroom clash is the latest public spat between Evans and Gruffudd, who divorced in 2023. It comes after Gruffudd claimed he had only been able to spend nine hours this year with his two children as the bitter legal battle between him and his ex-wife rumbles on.
While Blackball actress Alice, recently claimed via court papers that she “can’t afford to feed” their offspring and has resorted to using food stamps. She reportedly claimed to have had to sell two watches recently just so she can afford to pay her rent.

Lawyers for Gruffudd have fought Evans demands for more money and called her claims of poverty “exaggerated and false”. In court documents, he hit out at the “false narrative that she and the children have been left completely destitute”.
He accused Evans of “engaging in a pattern of damaging and defamatory conduct against me, aimed at intimidating and harassing me and my fiancée Bianca Wallace, while alienating our two young children from me”.
In further court hearings, he is expected to testify that Evans “stalked, harassed and abused’ them and alleged she repeatedly violated a Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) that was taken out in August 2022.
Evans has hit back saying her ex had “totally mischaracterised” her financial position and left her in “completely in the lurch” after removing her access to a joint bank account. She also claimed in a statement that Gruffudd no longer wanted to be a part of his children’s lives.
She said: ‘Not only did he not tell me in person that he wanted a divorce, he didn’t tell the children either. Nor did he tell any of us in person that he had (and was living with) a new partner (Wallace). He chose Instagram for that. He again chose Instagram to inform the children he was engaged.” The Mirror has reached out for reps for Evans and Gruffudd for comment on this story.
