Georgia Bulldogs Carson Beck displayed some rather peculiar body language during his team’s humiliating loss to the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday evening.
Carson Beck, regarded as one of the early favorites to go first overall in the 2025 NFL Draft, had a disappointing outing in Saturday’s 28-10 loss to the Rebels. He completed 20 passes for just 186 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception in the lopsided defeat.
Fans on social media noticed that Carson Beck was (curiously) smiling on the sidelines during the Bulldogs’ ugly loss. And they wasted no time teeing off on the likely top-10 2025 NFL draft pick for displaying that bizarre facial expression:
We don’t know what exactly was said during that sideline conversation, but one can understand the disappointment with Carson Beck from Georgia fans. As a team leader, you’d like to assume that Beck doesn’t find anything funny or joyful about this ugly loss.
Saturday’s loss dropped Georgia (ranked No. 3 heading into this contest) to 7-2 on the season, and they’re bound to drop in the rankings. They’re still in a good spot to qualify for the 12-team playoff tournament, but Carson Beck and company must rebound against Tennessee next week.

Beck, Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders, Texas’ Quinn Ewers, Alabama’s Jalen Milroe and Miami’s Cameron Ward are among the top quarterback prospects for the QB-heavy 2025 NFL Draft class.
Heading into Week 10, there are 10 NFL teams with 2-6 or 2-7 records. So it’s too early to project where Beck and Sanders may land, but they’re sure to be top-five picks at this stage.
