Special Moment Live from Brossard: Kirby Dach Makes a Gesture That Speaks Volumes

Kirby Dach is off to a tough start this season with the Montreal Canadiens, and he’s well aware of it.

Recently, in a press conference, head coach Martin St. Louis mentioned that Kirby is doing what’s necessary, putting in extra hours to turn things around and get back on track.

Well, Dach just proved him right.

Currently live from Brossard, Kirby Dach was the first player to hit the ice and is already putting in overtime.

He’s doubling down on his efforts to improve.

A beautiful scene involving Kirby Dach before the Montreal Canadiens’ practice

See the footage.

Everyone knows it’s harder for Dach. He knows it too.

However, seeing him on the ice before everyone else, working on his shot and putting in extra time, shows that he wants to make a change.

It will come if he keeps working hard.

Personally, I really enjoy seeing footage like this involving Kirby Dach. If this keeps up and he takes inspiration from his teammate Patrik Laine, I truly believe he can turn things around.

Let’s not forget, a year ago, some experts believed he could be better than Nick Suzuki.

At 23 years old, Dach had recorded 40 points in 60 games with the Montreal Canadiens before regressing this season with just 9 points in 31 games.

In his NHL career, Dach has accumulated 108 points in 243 games, having been drafted 3rd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in 2019.

Go Kirby!

Let’s also remember that the Canadiens are back in action tomorrow night at 7:00 PM against the Detroit Red Wings.

In fact, Martin St. Louis’ squad will play two games in two nights against the Wings.

Do you still believe the Habs can get “back in the mix” this season?
