Bronny James was the 55th pick in the NBA Draft and has gotten more attention than any of the other picks.

Boston Celtics big man Al Horford’s sister Anna gave him even more attention when she took to her X account and blasted him for being on the Los Angeles Lakers while other players who are “legitimately stronger players’ are stuck in the G-League.

“Bronny James playing with his dad is cool & all, but my heart breaks for the players who didn’t get drafted or who are stuck in the G-League knowing they’re legitimately stronger players than him,” she wrote.

Her response was to a picture showing a missing net that James took after he scored the first points of his NBA career against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Anna Horford may feel differently knowing that Bronny will be heading to the Lakers’ G League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers, in time for their season opener on Nov. 9th

Bronny James And LeBron Responds To Him Scoring His First NBA Points

As LeBron James watched from a few feet away, his son Bronny had fans in Cleveland going nuts when he scored his first points in an NBA game—on a shot that looked just like his old man—on Wednesday night in a 134-110 loss to the Cavaliers.

In the context of the game, the shot mattered little, as the game was well out of hand, with the Cavs winning 134-110 over the Lakers.

It was a special night since both LeBron and Bronny were born in Akron, just outside of Cleveland, and LeBron led his hometown, the Cavaliers, to their first and only NBA championship in 2016.

Every step of the way was, Bronny James by his side.

“To see him get his first NBA basket in this arena, where he grew up not too far away from here, that’s an unbelievable moment,” LeBron said. “Unbelievable moment for him, and for our family, it’s just pretty cool to be a part of it.”

Bronny James called the atmosphere inside the arena “insane.”

“Much more than I anticipated for sure, but it’s all love,” he said. “It was a nice moment. The chants really got me. I was straight-faced, but I felt it, and it felt really good, especially coming from here. It was a special moment for me for sure.”
