Atlanta Falcons Are Getting Torched During ‘Thursday Night Football’ Over Their Highly-Controversial Midfield Logo That’s Offending A Lot Of People

Last month, the Atlanta Falcons shared a photo of their logo from the 1960s to tease their throwback helmet for Week 4.

This turned out to be a bad idea.

Sports logos generate strong opinions but something was extremely odd by what the Falcons were showing the viewing public.

Many fans are wondering how the team ever adopted such a logo, as it reminded many of a Nazi eagle.

Just when fans were getting away from seeing it, the team was slated to play on Thursday Night Football against the Tampa Bay Bucs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Anytime either team would get across mid-field, thousands, if not millions of fans would see that logo.

Fans couldn’t help but see a Nazi symbol:

The Tampa Bay Bucs are 3-1 and leading the NFC South.

The Atlanta Falcons can change that with a victory on Thursday Night Football. This would give them both the same record but would place the Falcons above them since they would have the head-to-head victory.

The Falcons beat the Saints last week and could get an early leg up in the division with wins over Tampa Bay and New Orleans as the season approaches the quarter mark.

So far tonight, the teams went into halftime with the Buccaneers up 24-17 in a shootout.
