PHOTO: HBO Cameras Caught Something Strange On Myles Garrett’s iPad During Cleveland Browns Team Meeting
HBO cameras caught something interesting on the iPad of Cleveland Browns superstar defensive end Myles Garrett during a recent team practice.
This year, HBO’s popular “Hard Knocks” series documents all four AFC North teams (Myles Garrett’s Browns, the Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers). The Chicago Bears and New York Giants were also featured for 2024 training camp and offseason editions of the show, respectively.
In one of the latest editions of the show, fans noticed that Garrett was using iMessage on his iPad during a team meeting. We don’t have the full context, but it’s easy to speculate that Garrett was bored and not paying attention during the meeting:
The Browns have been one of the biggest disappointments of 2024, entering Week 15 with a 3-10 record. Expectations were high for a team that finished 11-6 last year with 38-year-old Joe Flacco leading the Browns to the postseason.
While Myles Garrett has had another tremendous season (11 sacks and three forced fumbles in 13 games), the rest of the team has greatly underperformed. One year after fielding a top-10 defense, the Browns rank 26th in scoring and 21st in yards allowed.
That said, there’s no indication that two-time Coach of the Year Kevin Stefanski or GM Andrew Berry are in danger of losing their jobs. One change you can bet on: Deshaun Watson will not be their starting quarterback in 2025.
Myles Garrett Deserves Better
The Browns have made the postseason twice over the last four years, but there’s no denying that they’ve wasted too much of Myles Garrett’s prime. They still haven’t found a franchise quarterback during his tenure, and the pieces on defense keep on changing.
Garrett hasn’t at all indicated that he wants to leave the Browns, but one can only wonder if another wasted season in 2025 will prompt him to request a trade.
