The eBay lister described the muscle car as being in ‘impeccable condition’

A VINTAGE 1976 Pontiac Trans Am with only 23,000 miles on the clock has hit the online market with a $45,000 price tag.

The classic American muscle sportscar debuted in the United States in 1967, but it was the 1976 model that captivated car fanatics.

The Trans Am’s sleek all-black colorway, equipped with a powerful engine for high-performance driving, and its two-door coupe design was a no-brainer, must-have for sportscar buffs.

Over 46,000 Pontiac Trans Am 1976 models were developed.

But despite its rich legacy, the Pontiac Trans Am faced numerous challenges by the late 1990s, including stricter emissions regulations, the shift in vehicle marketing, and financial struggles from General Motors, Pontiac’s parent company.

Ultimately, General Motors pulled the plug on the vehicle, discontinuing it by 2002.

‘IMPECCABLE CONDITION’

Now, a “nearly spotless” Pontiac Trans Am has hit the eBay market, and the owner is fetching just under $45,000.

The owner explains in the listing how the classic muscle car was repainted 10 years ago and is in near-mint condition, according to the seller’s listing.

The vehicle, which has just over 23,000 miles, comes equipped with its original engine.

“It runs flawlessly,” the lister writes in the listing’s description.

“The pictures and video will speak for themselves. The car drives even better than it looks just like a 23k orig mi car should drive like.

“No rattling, creaking, banging… NOTHING!” they boasted.

“The original wheels were rally 11’s and the original owner wanted snowflake wheels so that’s what he did and they are perfect with tires that are like new,” the owner added.

“The interior is impeccable and mostly original.”

The owner, who resides in West Babylon on Long Island in New York, is listing the vintage sportscar for $44,850.

A 1976 Pontiac Trans Am model sold in January for $22,000.

However, unlike the latest Trans Am listed on eBay, the mileage on the car sold at the start of the year was about 82,000.

Another 1976 model with 7,000 miles sold for over $48,000 in February.
