Fans on social media are wondering how the Buffalo Bills will be able to host a football game at Highmark Stadium this Sunday following heavy snowfall at Orchard Park over the weekend.
The Bills appear to be in a race against time to have their grounds ready for tonight’s ‘Sunday Night Football’ clash against the San Francisco 49ers.
Clearing efforts are underway, with staff and fans pitching in to remove as much snow as possible from the stadium. But some fans had questions after the NFL’s X account posted footage showing Highmark’s condition in the buildup to the fixture.
“The current scene in Buffalo ❄️👀,” they captioned the clip below.
“Good lord that’s a lot of snow! Will it be cleared out?” someone asked in the comments.
“Can they play like this?” another wondered.
“How can they play football in this?” someone else asked.
“No thanks. Couldn’t pay me to sit in those stands,” a user declared.
The Buffalo Bills Have Already Postponed One Event
While the Buffalo Bills fully expect to host Sunday Night’s affair, not all will go according to plan, as a significant event has already been postponed.
The team had previously scheduled a ‘Sunday Night Lights’ drone show for halftime. However, it has been scrapped due to safety concerns.
Meanwhile, kickoff is set for 8:20 p.m. ET unless the league announces otherwise.
