Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals fell to a seventh loss on the season following a nail-biting affair against the Los Angeles Chargers on the road this past Sunday.

The Bengals are now 4-7 despite Burrow maintaining his high level in 2024, so his frustration is easy to understand.

A video showing the quarterback walking off the field dejectedly in the aftermath of the loss is trending online, and it’s probably the saddest thing you’ll see this week, no matter how you feel about the Bengals.

NFL Fans Are Feeling It For Joe Burrow

Social media felt it for the QB after coming across the heartbreaking clip.

“Sad af,” a fan wrote in the comments

“He deserves better,” someone added.

“He don’t even wanna hug them mfs 😒😒 I hate this for Joe,” said a third.

“Being a Cincinnati fan is the most depressing thing ever,” a fourth wrote.

“That’s the walk of a man who knows Duke Tobin and Zac Taylor will control the next 5 years of his life,” a comment read.

“Totally dejected. He’s tired, mentally and physically. He knows the way the franchise works,” said one fan.

Cincy fought back from a 24-6 first-half deficit to tie the score 27-27 late in the fourth quarter. However, kicker Evan McPherson missed two field goal attempts, allowing the Chargers to score a go-ahead touchdown on a J.K. Dobbins rush with less than a minute to go.

Burrow nearly pulled off a Hail Mary in the dying seconds, but Derwin James was able to knock the football out of Tee Higgins’ grasp after the receiver got his hands on it in the air.
