Morgan Wallen Opens up in Vulnerable Video to Fans: “I Doubted Myself, I Doubted My Voice, I Doubted God’s Plan”

Amidst the headlines, court appearances, and awards show, Morgan Wallen recently took the time to reflect on his hectically successful and controversial year. Despite the various other events that have garnered attention, among the most notable was his record-breaking country music tour, One Night At A Time Tour.

Given the tour’s sweeping success, Wallen posted a reflective short film across all of his social platforms acknowledging his fans and how grateful he is for them. With Wallen as the narrator, the recap video takes on a vulnerable streak and one that many haven’t seen from the bro-country superstar.

He starts out the video stating, “As I sit here just a few weeks removed from one of the largest country music tours in history” and “I still can’t really find the words to say how much me being able to say that means – so thank you.” Subsequently, the video transitions into the ever-so-familiar grandeur of his Summer shows. However, he continues to open up, as he added in the clip, “You know, it doesn’t seem all that long ago that I was meeting my band in the basement of the house, and playing music way too loud and pissing everybody off.”

Wallen added, “Over the span of almost ten years now, there were times in that period where I doubted myself, I doubted my voice, I doubted God’s plan. You guys, my fans, have made it abundantly clear that you want to hear my voice and you do care about it.” “I just wanted you guys to know how much I appreciate that, and how much your support and just the passion for my music, for me as a person, how much it truly means,” Wallen concluded.

Between winning CMA Entertainer of The Year, having a historical country music tour, and being arrested, Morgan Wallen has had quite the year. That being so, this post spoke to both the positive and negative moments that this year entailed. Incidentally, one can’t help but think that his candid comments touch on far more than just his tour’s success.

In a recent time of silence, Wallen seemingly broke that vow to let fans know just how much he cares for them.
