Puka Nacua has gone from a late-round draft pick to a breakout star and is now looking nothing like he did just one year ago.

One year ago, the former BYU wideout was drafted in the fifth round of the NFL draft and had hoped to not only be a contributor but stay on that roster.

Fast-forward to 2024. Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua has solidified himself as one of the top players on the team after his record-breaking rookie season.

Now, just a week from their Week 1 matchup, Nacua looks like a new man in many ways.

His pictures from 2023 and 2024 were put side-by-side, showing that Puka Nacua looks drastically different.

Nacua is now rocking a full beard as opposed to 2023, when he was basically clean-shaven.

That is what one year can do to a man.

Puka Nacua Had The Numbers To Be The Rookie of The Year

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua entered February’s NFL Honors Awards Show hoping to defy the odds and bring home the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year Award.

Unfortunately for Nacua, it was always going to be an uphill battle since Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud shocked everybody with his dynamic play.

Stroud finished the season completing 63.9 percent of his passes for 4,108 yards, 23 touchdowns, and just five interceptions.

Nacua finished his regular season with incredible production. According to ESPN stats, he racked up 105 receptions for 1,486 receiving yards, both rookie records, to go along with six scores.

Nacua was a lock for the Pro Bowl and earned Second-Team All-Pro honors.
