VIDEO: New Dashcam Footage Captures Horrifying Moment A Black Hawk Military Helicopter Collides Midair With An American Airlines Passenger Plane At Washington’s Reagan International Airport
A new dashcam video has emerged of the horrifying crash between an American Airlines passenger jet and a Black Hawk military helicopter near Washington’s Reagan National Airport.
On Wednesday evening, an American Airlines plane collided midair with a Blackhawk Helicopter above the Potomac River near the Reagan National Airport. The passenger aircraft was flying from Wichita, Kansas.
Per CNN, the American Airlines jet was carrying 64 passengers.
A video has emerged of the collision between the aircraft and the helicopter. A warning that it may be disturbing for some viewers to watch:
President Donald Trump has been briefed on the crash and released a statement, via the official GOP X/Twitter account. Trump wrote, “May God Bless their souls” and said he’d provide further details when available.
