We can say that Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine is experiencing some great emotions this week.
After his memorable night yesterday at the Bell Centre against the Islanders, where he scored his first goal with the Habs, he has now received more amazing news.
He has been selected to be part of Team Finland for the much-anticipated Four Nations Tournament!
Patrik Laine and Joel Armia Named to Team Finland
That’s what has just been announced.
Here are the 13 Finnish forwards chosen:
Sebastian Aho, Aleksander Barkov, Roope Hintz, Mikko Rantanen, Joel Armia, Mikael Granlund, Erik Haula, Kaapo Kakko, Artturi Lehkonen, Anton Lundell, Patrik Laine, Eetu Luostarinen, and Teuvo Teravainen.
The defensemen:
Miro Heiskanen, Esa Lindell, Jani Hakanpaa, Niko Mikkola, Olli Maatta, Rasmus Ristolainen, Juuso Valimaki.
And the goaltenders:
Juuse Saros, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen, Kevin Lankinen.
Congratulations to all these players, especially Joel Armia and Patrik Laine.
We look forward to seeing the other rosters, but this looks promising.
Team Finland has always found a way to surprise on the international stage, so they’re definitely a team to watch.
