Tommy Fury said yesterday he is devastated over the ‘false cheating allegations’ made about him as he broke his silence in a new post – but fans have had plenty to say
Tommy Fury has been accused of using clever social media trick to try and gain some ‘sympathy’ following his split with Molly-Mae Hague.
Fans think he is using tactics including a certain camera lighting to make people feel sorry for him. Tommy yesterday said he’s ‘heartbroken’ over the ‘false cheating allegations’ made about him and broke his silence in a new post.
The duo shared their own statements on the matter but rumours immediately started swirling about the reason behind their breakup. Reports claimed he cheated on her with a Danish woman during a lads’ trip to Macedonia.
An old clip of him partying with controversial singer Chris Brown and several women in Dubai also resurfaced. Tommy attempted to put the rumours to bed as he took to his Instagram page to share a photo of himself tying his shoelaces.
Tommy took to Instagram and wrote: “These last few weeks have been heartbreaking. “The false allegations about me have been horrendous, thank you to everybody who has stood by me through this.” Then, the boxer concluded the statement with a love heart emoji.
Fans were quick to make some points after reading what Tommy had to say. One wrote: “Actually obsessed with the pale lighting editing to make him look hard done by lmfaooooooo.”
Another follower wrote: “He looks like a sickly Victorian child” before a third added: “I’m so used to seeing him look orange.” After spotting some striking similarities, someone else posted: “Tommy copying Molly by adding a white heart on his post.”
It comes 24 hours after Molly-Mae took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of herself leaning over a railing to admire the pond at the picturesque location she was at.
She used the opportunity to thank fans for their support. She said: “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for.”
A Danish woman at the centre of the claims, Milla Corfixen, 20, who enjoyed a wild night out with Tommy in Macedonia, initially denied kissing the star, describing him as “a proper gentleman”.
She then made a huge U-turn, taking to social media to claim she did kiss the boxer. She has also reportedly “cleared the air” with Molly.
The couple, who share a one-year-old daughter, Bambi, were engaged to marry, however Molly had previously opened up about the pair ‘living separate lives’.
Just weeks before the shock split, she spoke of ‘single parenting’ as the 25-year-old had been away from home again.
