Where will Davante Adams end up?
How Trading Davante Adams Could Impact the Raiders
Adams is reportedly being pursued by multiple teams around the league, including the New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, and New Orleans Saints.
Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported that the Jets and Cowboys are among those “monitoring” the situation and “checked in with the Raiders.”
She would then state which team she expects to make the ultimate move when it is all said and done.
“My biggest takeaway from conversations with teams around the league? Many involved or have checked in believe the Jets are the team that will get this trade done.”
ESPN’s Adam Schefter added the New Orleans Saints as a potential landing spot for Davante Adams and noted the Kansas City Chiefs are “not expected to be an option.”
Depending on which team decides to make a move, it will not come cheap if they want to land one of the best receivers in the league.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Raiders told teams they would only “consider” moving Davante Adams if offered a second-round pick and additional compensation.
The 31-year-old is signed through the 2026 campaign.
Davante Adams Has Two Teams on Top of His Trade Wish List
Davante Adams prefers to go with a team he would be familiar with based on the personnel.
Adams, who requested a trade from the Raiders this week, is interested in joining the Jets and Saints, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
His resume speaks for itself, as he has six Pro Bowl selections and three First-Team All-Pro nods.
Adams missed Las Vegas’ Week 4 victory over the Cleveland Browns, but in the previous three games, he hauled in 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown.
It appears his next catch will be in a new uniform
