Travis Kelce wasn’t happy after his brother Jason said Patrick Mahomes leveraged his advantage as a quarterback to get the longest run of his NFL career. During Wednesday’s episode of their joint show ‘New Heights,’ the Kelce brothers recapped the Kansas City Chiefs 28-18 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

After Jason said that Mahomes went out of bounds and then returned to the field, Travis clarified that Kareem Hunt helped him get all those yards legally.

Jason: “He had the longest run of his career, 33 yard scamper along the sideline at the end of the third quarter, which, if we’re being honest he kind of used his quarterbackness to his advantage.” (27:44)

Travis: “Get outta here. You watch it again that Kareem pushes the guy out of bounds. Kareem, is literally over there in the flat, sees 53 pushes up. He loses balance, and then gets in the way at 92. I’m not trying to hear this… I hear what everybody’s saying. Some quarterbacks definitely take advantage of that.”

“I think Pat has been pretty solid with if he’s getting out of bounds, he’s doing it because he can’t do he can’t get any more yards with his legs. He’s not going to try and trick a guy of going out of bounds and then do it. It’s like the old fake slide. I don’t, I just don’t see Pat doing it.”

Patrick Mahomes made it to San Francisco’s 4-yard after that play, which led to a touchdown from the quarterback that gave the Chiefs a 21-12 lead at the start of the fourth quarter.

Travis Kelce said he had ‘FOMO’ after family attended Taylor Swift’s Miami show

Besides defending his quarterback, Travis Kelce was honest about his offseason whereabouts. The veteran tight end said that he had ‘FOMO’ (fear of missing out) after learning that his family attended a Taylor Swift concert on Oct 18 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida, which was a hit for the Kelces.

The Super Bowl champion and the singer have been dating since the 2023 season and Swift has cheered for Kelce whenever she’s had the chance while the veteran showed support to the singer during her tour, even traveling to Argentina to watch her perform.

Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are 6-0 for the season and the dream of three-peating isn’t dead.
