Brittany Mahomes’ Immediate Reaction After Home Burglary

Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was reportedly bothered after their home was burglarized last October.

On Tuesday, PEOPLE broke the news that the Mahomes’ Missouri home and Travis Kelce’s Leawood house were burglarized just less than 48 hours apart on Oct 6 and 7, respectively.

While the initial report didn’t indicate what was stolen from the Mahomeses, new updates shed more light on the crime. According to The U.S. Sun, Brittany Mahomes’ jewelry and designer bags were taken, as well as several of Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs jerseys, medals, trophies and other silverware.

There were also reportedly multiple items stolen from the Chiefs QB’s man cave.

Unsurprisingly, the incident left Brittany Mahomes devastated and concerned, especially since they consider their home a “safe haven.”

“The Mahomes got really angry as Brittany felt really bad that people got into their privacy, into their private spaces, and felt really bad about it for a bit,” The U.S. Sun’s source shared.

“That really bothered them a lot, especially her, as she always wants her safe space and her family and kids to be in the safest places 24/7, and home is their sanctuary in the middle of the super active life they have.”

Patrick Mahomes, for his part, expressed his frustration about the incident when asked about it on Wednesday.

“It’s frustrating, it’s disappointing,” Mahomes said. “I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is ongoing, but obviously it’s something you don’t wanna happen to anybody, obviously yourself.”

It is worth noting that Cass County Sheriff’s Office is looking into the burglary of the Mahomes estate. The FBI is also reportedly getting involved and assisting with the investigation.
