Cooper Flagg Celebrates Major New Balance Deal with Deep Personal Significance
Even before stepping foot on an NBA court, Cooper Flagg is already making headlines. The Duke commit recently signed a major endorsement deal with New Balance.
This partnership is especially meaningful to Flagg, given the brand’s strong connection to his home state of Maine. During an interview with ESPN, the 17-year-old expressed his excitement about the deal and how it ties into his roots.
“The connection with New Balance as a family company and a company with Maine roots means a lot to me. That makes this really different and special. My mom used to go to the tent sale for back-to-school shopping there when we were kids. That really aligns the brand with my roots. It’s a perfect fit,” Flagg said.
Buzz surrounds Flagg as the potential top overall pick in the upcoming draft. But for now, his fans are eager to see how his college season at Duke unfolds and how he continues to steer his rising stardom.
