We have more action on NHL waivers this Tuesday, as two players have been made available.

As reported by Sportsnet’s insider Elliotte Friedman, Graeme Clarke and Lukas Svejkovsky are currently available for free.

Let’s recall that Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens hold a top-5 priority for claiming players, but only for a few more days (this ends on November 1).

This is worth mentioning, even though the Habs have previously ignored names like Jakob Pelletier and Raphaël Lavoie.

Graeme Clarke and Lukas Svejkovsky are currently available on NHL waivers

Clarke, only 23 years old, is a 6-foot, 175-pound forward drafted in the third round by the New Jersey Devils in the 2019 NHL Draft.

He was traded to the Minnesota Wild this past June in exchange for young Adam Beckman.

Clarke has been very productive in the AHL so far, with 107 points over the last two seasons with the Devils’ farm team. Wow.

He could certainly catch the interest of some teams as a young forward with character.

Svejkovsky, 22, is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound center. He was a fourth-round pick by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2020 and has accumulated 20 points in his AHL career so far (in 70 games).

Do you think any of the names above could interest Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens, who still hold a top-5 priority for now?
