Miami Heat unveiled a bronze statue of its legend Dwyane Wade and fans online were not impressed with how it looked.
Dwyane Wade and Cristiano Ronaldo Statue
With the 2024 NBA season underway, the Miami Heat unveiled a statue of its legend Dwyane Wade outside the Kaseya Center, its home arena. However, the statue’s face received harsh criticism after it was made public.
According to the NBA community online, the statue’s face looks nothing like Wade’s. Additionally, some fans have claimed that this statue is similar to that of famous soccer sensation Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal, whose statue also received heavy criticism for ruining the face of the sculpture.
Wade’s statue, which stands eight feet tall, was made by Rotblatt Amrany Studio’s Omri Amrany and Oscar Leon. They have previously made statues of the late Kobe Bryant. In addition, Leon also revealed that Wade was satisfied with the statue.
