Brittany Mahomes Shaken ‘to the Core’ by Donald Trump Attack on Taylor Swift

Based on recent events, it appears the bad blood narrative between Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes was nothing more than unsubstantiated rumors.

This all started when Taylor and Brittany, the partners of Kansas City Chiefs superstars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes, respectively, were spotted in separate suites during the defending champs’ season-opening win against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1.

More than a few fans suspected there was some sort of rift between the pair, which also fell in line with Brittany recently liking a pro-Donald Trump Instagram post. Some Swift supporters, in particular, did not like Mahomes’ supposed support for the former president, and they believed that was the reason Taylor decided to distance herself from Brittany — at least for the Ravens game.

A few days later, Swift made major headlines after she decided to endorse Kamala Harris via a now-viral Instagram post while also criticizing Trump. The Republican presidential nominee did not like it one bit and came out with a scathing attack on the pop queen by posting, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” on the Truth Social platform.

Apparently, this did not sit well with Brittany Mahomes, who is now reportedly questioning her support for Trump.

“She is questioning her support for Donald Trump after he lashed out at Taylor, saying he hates her,” per an unnamed source of the DailyMail.com.

“This deeply bothered Brittany because Taylor is like a sister to her, and she has done absolutely nothing wrong.

“She didn’t mention Trump in her post and is allowed to speak her mind.”

The same report also indicated that while Brittany considers this to be a disturbing turn of events, it does not necessarily mean that she will be voting for Kamala Harris. However, Trump’s actions have reportedly made Mahomes “more aware of supporting him so publicly.”

“She does not believe in hate in any form and loves Taylor so much,” the source continued. “This shook her to the core.”

Brittany hosted a party for her husband on Sunday, Sept. 15, to celebrate the Chiefs star quarterback’s 29th birthday. Photos have emerged online of Taylor attending the party, which was held at the Mahomes residence.

This follows Swift and Mahomes sitting together with their significant others during the U.S. Open tennis final in New York on Sept. 8. The couples also went on a double date after the tennis event.

While Taylor and Brittany might be sitting at different suites during Chiefs games — as was the case again on Sunday in their gripping 26-25 win over the Cincinnati Bengals at the Arrowhead Stadium — it appears there is no truth to the rumors about a rift between the pair.
